By accessing and using Brainstream ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Brainstream is an AI-powered note-taking application that helps you organize your thoughts, generate insights from your notes, and stay productive. The App offers both free and premium (Pro) subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use Brainstream. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through the respective app store. By subscribing:

• You authorize recurring charges to your payment method
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to the app store's refund policy
• Prices may change with reasonable notice

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Brainstream. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Generate AI-powered features (summaries, briefs, suggestions) from your content
• Back up your data to prevent loss

We do not use your personal content to train general AI models.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Share content that violates others' rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the service
• Circumvent usage limits or billing

7. AI-Generated Content

Brainstream uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, suggestions, and insights. This AI-generated content:

• May not always be accurate or complete
• Should be reviewed before relying on it
• Is provided "as is" without warranties
• Should not be used for critical decisions without verification

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainstream and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
